Vacation Bible School (VBS)

In early to mid-August, we gather for a week of Vacation Bible School teaching and fun. We meet every morning from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Each day includes an opening devotion and prayer, a skit, classroom lesson from the Holy Scriptures, recess, theme snack, music, a craft, and a closing devotion. Later in the week, the children put on an evening of skits to show what they have been learning about Jesus Christ and His love for them. We conclude the last day Friday with a luncheon.

The first full week after the August holiday Monday is VBS week.

Tropical Trek: Jesus, Comes to Seek and Save

Children ages 3-12, join us for a Tropical Trek where we will learn how Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10)! As we traverse fun and exciting places, like a dormant volcano and island caves, we’ll discover how God finds us and helps us in every challenge we face.

FAQ’s

Is there a cost? There is no registration fee, however children are encouraged to give a free will offering for a charity that differs every year.

Is there a Thursday night program? Yes. The children enjoy sharing what they have learned with their family. They also enjoy showing their classrooms and the crafts they have made. Refreshments are provided. Children are given a flyer at the beginning of VBS with details.

Is there still a lunch on the last day? Yes. We serve lunch on the last day, parents are welcome to join.

Do my kids have to come for all of the days? We’d love to have your kids join us for any period of time! Even just one day. Please note that on the registration to help us account for snacks for the week.
